retool estimate

I;m considering getting a mat that in my opinion needs a complete or at least partial retool. How can I get a decent estimate on machine pricing without letting it be known that I’m interested in a particular mat?
Any advice would be most helpful. Thanks!!

That’s a tough one because you will need to find a distributor you can trust and work with. They can provide you with some much needed information. The key word is “trust”. Interview a few of them.

Why don’t you want them to know you are interested in the Mat?
I would get a Washer and Dryer count with sizes.. then just set up meetings with distributors. Give them the list see what they say and how quick they get back to you with a quote. Just remember its there job to sell equipment.

I think it would be great if members had a way to post what they paid for equipment. I am about to quote out 3-4 different distributors on a retool in Florida. If I had a easy resource to reference to see if I was getting a fair price that would be great. If Car Gurus and Auto Trader can do it.. I’m sure Jordan can.
