Who do you guys recommend for business insurance for your laundromat? My wife and I don’t plan on having an employee all the time at our business. I have only checked with one insurance company in getting a quote but they said if we didn’t have an employee manning it during all business hours they won’t offer us coverage.
Who are you guys using and what types of insurance are you paying for?

The CLA is a good option. I worked with Ryan over there and he was great. However, they couldn’t beat the price of my current company, Central Insurance. We have a pretty comprehensive insurance package including Business package/Auto/umbrella/workers comp and lots more. It’s expensive but a good investment.

I just switched insurance companies, there can be a wide range in premium with the same coverages from company to company. I sent into the CLA’s insurance guy and never heard back. That was 4 weeks ago. I found another local broker that had several places to shop and we found one that saved me $3000 a year. Every market and situation is different. Pick up the phone and start calling places.

NIE specializes in dry cleaning and laundromats. CLA wasn’t close to the local guy and NIE beat them.
