Hi everybody! My name is Gary and I’ve been doing a lot of research into laundromats and seen how successful they can be. I’m on the path to retirement and looking to invest either in my own laundromat or franchise. I have $300,00 in start up capital and was wondering what my best options were, any thoughts?

Hi Gary, thanks for joining in on the forums with such a great question!

Congratulations on being on your path towards retirement! Hopefully laundromats can fit into your plan!

If you don’t mind me asking, about how long are you looking for retirement? Are you hoping to run the laundromat into retirement? Only asking in case other community members have been or are in a similar situation and can chime in with their experiences.

I see you have interest in looking into a laundromat franchise, if you haven’t seen or listened to these podcast episodes about laundromat franchises, I highly recommend them! I know they can be a hot topic of debate in the industry (or any industry).

Investing is a way to set aside money while you are busy with life and have that money work to reap the rewards of your labor in the future fully. The goal of investing is to put your money to work in one or more types of investment vehicles in the hopes of growing your money over time. The first and most important thing to start your investment career is to get acknowledged for everything about investments. To do that, there are many online informational courses, such as https://investorjunkie.com/reviews/fundrise/ , to understand the field of view and get everything right from the start.

If I were you, I’d invest in a laundromat franchise. The franchisor will typically provide training and support. He may also assist with things such as site selection and equipment purchases.

Opening a laundromat can be a profitable business venture. One option is to open your own laundromat.

Opening a laundromat can be a profitable business venture. One option is to open your own laundromat. It will give you full control over the business. However, it requires more responsibility. Another option is to invest in a laundromat franchise. It can provide a turn-key operation with established systems and processes in place. But this requires a significant investment. Besides, it may limit your control over certain aspects of the business. Both options have their own set of pros and cons. So, it would be best to find an advisor from a reliable company, such as humaninvesting.com. Conduct together a market research and make the best decision for your situation.
