I plan on opening a laundromat in Old Fort, NC, there is not one already in our town! I know absolutely nothing to be quite honest with you. I have a dream of financial freedom, and this is my first step. I do not have a background in business but I am a quick learner and a hard worker. I want nothing more. I will take any amount of advice, tricks, tips, whatever you got! Please and Thank you in advance. I am finalizing my business plan and have a very potential space for lease (suit to build). I want to have a laundry service as well! I want to make it a community place as well! Semi Annual clothes swaps, pet adoption days, etc. Also I want to invite food trucks to come as well! I want a modern 70s feel and look as well.

          Hi Arica!

It’s great to have you here as part of our awesome community! Sounds like you have an amazing idea for your laundromat (70’s feel, yes please!) and I hope all the information we have available for you can take you one step closer to your dream of financial freedom!

Here are a couple of things I always recommend to our new community members:
          1. Being an active member on the Community Forum! (Off to a great start! 😉) The community members have amazing insight and information and we are a community that wants to see everyone succeed!

          2. If you haven’t yet, check out our Laundromat University! Our FREE course is a great starting point! Plus, more exciting things to come!

Looks like you are off to a great start already! Looking forward to seeing you around the forums! Reach out if you have any questions!

            Welcome Arica!

I’m also in NC. I’m looking to buy an established business in the near future. Perhaps down the road I’ll look into the build-out option as I raise enough cash to do something like that. You’ll have to keep everyone posted on how things progress and things you learn along your journey.
