I live in North New Jersey and am looking for a laundromat to invest in my area. So far I saw one I liked out of 8 I saw and I let it slip away. So now I’m on the lookout for another. I tried signing up for the Buyers Email List but it keeps giving me an error. I tried firefox and microsoft edge and I still can not sign up. I have been working with random brokers around New Jersey, which I have not been that happy with. Some of the brokers are just down right rude. If you are in my area or have tips and tricks that I could follow to deal with the brokers in my area let me know. Thanks for listening.

Hello Glenn – Total newbie here as well starting my journey to acquire a mat in the Los Angeles market. In talking with others in the business I have heard there are quite a few shady or poor performing brokers. Although your likely excited as I am to get a mat my advice would be to be patient as buying the right mat at the right price is the most important part of the process. I’ll share more as I get further into my search. Good luck!

Sorry you’re having trouble with brokers out in your area. But, I think Daniel hit the nail on the head. Be patient. Impatience can lead to a bad deal, and that’s the last thing you want. Let me know how else I can help!

I am also in the Northern NJ area. So far, I’ve worked with 2 brokers in NJ and both were extremely unresponsive….so unresponsive they were forgettable…I don’t remember their names or companies.

I have been at this for 4 years not and have not purchased a laundromat yet, but I am excited about this year.

Yea it has been a pain trying to find a good broker. Are you in Bergen county? I got jealous 2 days ago when I was driving in Ridgefield, New Jersey and saw a brand new laundromat opening on Bergen Boulevard. What are you looking to buy or open a new one? Let me know. Thank you for your time

If you have any advice or contacts that are in Bergen County, New Jersey let me know please. My broker took my name 2 months ago and never got back to me. That is a bad sign. I am also looking to meet up with others in my 20 mile radius area to throw ideas around, maybe we can plan something out. Thank you for your time

Hello, Glenn Im happy to see another person from NJ. Im sorry to hear about your dilemma with brokers. You should try on FB a group called laundromat owner, and laundromat buy and sell. I don’t own a laundromat, but I’m starting my research on this business. Not that long ago, I saw on FB a post of a brand new laundromat in Clifton. Best of luck.
