Hello laundry aficionados! We are Lisa and Robert, based in Los Angeles and eagerly perusing ownership of our first laundromat. We are considering underperforming locations any where in LA county. Our goal is to own multiple stores in the next 5 years to build wealth for our family. Lisa currently works in the medical field while Rob has a career in the film industry. Hello Lisa and Rob, wanted to check in with you and see how your search is coming along. I too am looking for my first location and sometimes the search can feel neverending, right? It appears you have a good idea of what you are looking for, have you had any traction? After 3 solid months of letters, cold stop bys, networking; I was able to get my first location under contract. For my search, the success came from consistently staying in contact with a distributor, staying top of mind and clearly communicating that I was a legitimate buyer with the means to close the transaction.
