As a business model the laundromat industry intrigues me. I don’t own one……yet but I’m looking forward to learning more. What I want to know the most is whether the model in North America operates the same in NZ i.e. costs, compliance, profits.

I have only just signed up, read the Ebook and watched some videos. Very interesting and would like to go down this path. Everything that has been explained though is a guide and tools to use when finding your own laundromat.
Why not just approach a laundromat owner to discuss their experience, if they are selling or know of a location selling?
I am currently approaching brokers about laundromats for sale. Kind of bad because I am doing this a purely research and not intending to buy straight away but at lease I can ask the questions, hopefully get a copy of their profit and loss reports and go from there.

I like your idea of sounding out the brokers for info. Unfortunately you can’t always rely on what are they telling you but it’s a starting point. The owner’s might give a little more away hopefully.
I have listened to heaps of the podcasts & youtube but should make the next step & read the Ebook.
What part of Australia are you from? I moved to Auckland from Brisbane 16 years ago but I grew up on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

Hi Mark,
Yes I know there is a risk with contacting brokers as they may not tell me everything.
Currently in contact with one for a different business model but I figure I am still new so receiving info of a business that is similar structure would not hurt to learn about. Way over my head though lol, I have a line up of questions that I am about to email them to understand the profit, loss and equipment info they have me. I hope they don’t hate me after haha!
I have read the ebook so thought the next step is to dive in but more in a learning type of way first. Present as a buyer but more there for more inside information.
I grew up and curently live in Brisbane Qld.
