Have you ever watched a movie and been surprised to find out it was based on a book? I’m really interested in discovering films that were adapted from literature, especially those that might not be as well-known. Which book-to-movie adaptations have impressed you the most, and why? Whether they were spot-on with the book or took a unique approach, I’d love to know which ones are worth watching!
August 23, 2024 at 4:45 am #29921Hi! I absolutely love diving into book-to-movie adaptations too! There’s something special about seeing a beloved story come to life on screen. If you’re looking for some great recommendations, I recently came across a post https://booksrun.com/blog/best-book-to-movie-adaptations/ that breaks down some of the best adaptations out there. It goes beyond just the usual suspects and highlights some hidden gems as well. I found it super helpful for finding movies that stayed true to the original book, as well as those that took creative liberties in interesting ways. You should definitely check it out if you want to expand your watchlist!

This sounds exactly like what I’ve been looking for. I’m definitely going to check it out and see which adaptations I might have missed. I love comparing the book to the movie, so this is perfect timing!
